Amman - Morocco's soccer team Wydad Casablanca lost, Sunday, to Al-Wihdat (Jordan) 1-2 in the first leg of the quarter finals.
The local team managed to score in the 34 minutes through the first half through Hassan Abdelfatah before his teammate Mohamed Chilbaya doubled the score in the 58th minute.
Five minutes later, midfielder Rafik Abdessamad narrowed the score for the Reds, through a beautiful kick.
Thanks to this goal, Wydad, the runner-up of last year's competition, seems in a position to qualify for the semifinals during the second-leg match, due on March 21 in Casablanca.
