Maroc Classic Rally kicks off in Casablanca

The sixteenth Maroc Classic Rally, a "precision regularity" event, run under the Honorary Presidency of Prince Moulay Rachid, kicked off Saturday in Casablanca.

Casablanca - The sixteenth Maroc Classic Rally, a "precision regularity" event, run under the Honorary Presidency of Prince Moulay Rachid, kicked off Saturday in Casablanca.

    Themed  "Road of the Heart", the race is open to classic cars built between 1930 and 1982. A total of fifty-five Moroccan and foreign teams compete in this event, ending in March 21 in Marrakech city.


    Maroc Classic Rally, organized since 1993, includes 7 legs spanning over 2.350 kms. The race circuit goes through several cities, namely Casablanca Rabat, Fez, Khenifra, Bin El Ouidane, Demnat, Ouarzazate, Tiznit and Agadir.

     Participants will also have the opportunity to discover the regional and local specificities as well as the historical and cultural legacy of the visited cities.
